ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Aino, a construction architect from Finland and the creator of the Random Lines Method a creative approach to architectural sketching and design thinking.

After graduating as a construction architect in 2025, I reflected on something I had noticed throughout architecture school. Coming up with design ideas always felt natural to me, while many of my classmates struggled with the hardest part of the creative process—getting started. Finding inspiration and generating the first concept often became a barrier.

That's why I created the Random Lines to Architecture Sketch method: a sketching and design tool that helps you overcome the blank page, generate fresh architectural ideas quickly, and develop your creativity through simple random lines. Instead of waiting for inspiration to appear, you'll learn how to create it.

Today, I teach architectural sketching through the Random Lines Method—a process that transforms simple lines into expressive architectural drawings. Rather than focusing on perfect technique, the method encourages creative exploration, visual thinking, and confidence in freehand sketching.

I believe that great architecture doesn't begin with a perfect drawing. It begins with curiosity, experimentation, and the courage to put the first lines on paper.

Whether you're an architecture student, architect, designer, or complete beginner, my goal is to help you develop stronger sketching skills, unlock your creativity, and discover a new way of thinking through drawing.

Architecture is where imagination meets visual expression. Every random line has the potential to become an idea, a space, or the beginning of your next design.

Are you ready to discover your creative designer?
